15 hours later.

Lost a bobby pin right before the timer went off!

I wore:
NY & Co. cardigan
Gap skirt
Steve Madden shoes

I want to introduce you guys to my new oxfords! They were a purchase during my shopping trip with Mom last weekend. I got them for only $30! I'm very proud of them, as you can already tell.

Looking at these pictures, I can't help but think "wow, self, you really should have sacrificed a few minutes of sleep to spruce yourself up a bit." I was a bit stressed on Wednesday when I wore this because I had to videotape a lesson at school to turn in for a final. The lesson went well and one kid made me laugh so hard that I cried- the best kind of tears.

Can you believe it's already December? I can't. I'm ready for the semester to be over but I haven't done any Christmas shopping with the exception of my two nieces who are the easiest people to buy for. I'm saving my dad for last- he returns everything anyway.

Purple rain.

I wore:
Gap jirt (jean shirt)
Target belt
J.Crew Factory skirt
Nine West boots

Usually my mother and I do not like the same things. She has to buy entire outfits instead of individual pieces. I'm the opposite- a mixer and a matcher. But she picked out this skirt for me and I love it! The purple is a great color and it's a bit more casual than my other pencil skirt.

In true form, however, she also picked out a mustard yellow cardigan and a scarf to tie it all together for me. I had to return the cardigan but I doubt they would have ever gotten worn together anyway.

We got a lot of other great things this weekend too but my mom is literally keeping it all under wraps as most of it is for Christmas. My mom has the most willpower when it comes to not letting me have gifts early. It sure makes for a good Christmas Eve when I'm finally allowed to rip into them!

A day off

My armpit always emits sunlight.

I wore:
Gap turtleneck
Loft skirt
Gap belt
Worthington tights
Nine West boots

I have the day off of both school and work! Yay!

But I woke up with a sore throat. BOO.

Oh well, it's a traditional sick day- a run to the store to get cold medicine and then back to the apartment to get some work done. I would love to be in jeans and a sweatshirt but it's laundry day, so options are limited.

This skirt is insanely comfy though. It's a little bit too big though, so the belt has to stay. I rarely wear belts for their original purpose but sometimes they're just plain necessary.

Now I'm off to savor my new Natural Cherry Honey Ricola throat drops. Toodles!
