Save the Best for Last

I wore this last Friday and kept getting asked why I was so dressed up. What is an appropriate response to that question? "Oh, I'm just trying to get a boyfriend sooner rather than later" hardly seems like a good answer.

This week is off to a bit of a rough start and I am already pretty exhausted. Tomorrow is a big day- I'm having my final observation for student teaching and going to see Andrew Jenks. There's several errands  mixed in there too. 

On a funny note, I graded vocabulary quizzes that seniors took last week. One of their vocabulary words was "quell" meaning to crush and they were required to use it in a sentence. The hunters in my class wrote "I ate quell for dinner." Oh homonyms, causing a ruckus. 

Another  kid wrote "Ms. Hayes quells my hope of having a good day." Real cool.
